 It has been a priority of mine to write and thank you, on behalf of Thelma and I, for all your efforts in helping us find a place to live after our home and all our contents were destroyed by fire on March 17th, 2005.

Needless to say, both Thelma and I were “shocked” by the event as one never expects it to happens and of course it is very disruptive to our lives. It was therefore, very important to us that we try to re-establish our normal living routines as soon as possible (as you know we were temporarily living in a hotel). The best way to attain that was to, as quickly as possible, find a place to rent for the year that it will take to rebuild our home.

At this stage we asked you to assist us. You immediately “sprung into action” and within hours had identified a number of potential places to see. You made all the appointments, rescheduled your own life to accommodate us and met us at every home. Knowing our preferences, you were able to eliminate many homes as being “unacceptable” and zeroed in on only those with strong “potential”. This was very important to us because “time was of the essence” and we did not want to waste time going to obviously unacceptable places. Given the huge amount of work that was required to deal with the insurance company and all related matters, we needed to spend our time as productively as possible. Thankfully, you helped us to achieve this.

Unlike many agents who simply try to close the deal as quickly as possible in order to receive their commission, you were very sensitive to our pressure's at that time. You demonstrated this by advising that although a home may have been "OK" you insisted that "OK" was not good enough and encouraged us to keep persevering. Your positive attitude was a great motivator for both of us. This approach especially impressed us as we were aware that you were scheduled to leave on a week's vacation approximately five days after the fire and you wanted us to be secure in the knowledge that we had a place committed before you left. To achieve this you tirelessly scoured the listings on the internet until all hours of the night (as evidenced by the many email's you sent at midnight and later) and made all the appropriate appointments.

When we finally found the place to rent (two days before your departure) you prepared and submitted all the offers to both ourselves and the landlord's agent. Unfortunately, because the Landlord's agent was incredibly and unnecessarily difficult, it greatly impeded our ability to finalize the agreement before you left for your vacation. However, in order to keep the momentum going, you assigned the project to your colleague, Christine Peltekian. In addition and notwithstanding that you were on your vacation, you regularly kept in touch.

Karen, all your efforts resulted in a final signed agreement that allowed us to move in on the 1st April 2005 (just two weeks after the fire!) and to begin to get our lives somewhat "back to normal". Once again, both Thelma and thank you for all your efforts and great attitude in helping us through this very difficult and stressful time in our lives. please feel free to tell any clients to call us, as we will be more than pleased to tell them how effective, efficient and dedicated you will be in ensuring a successful conclusion to their needs.
